No update on santini yet makes me worry. The longer it goes without any info makes you think it may not be a day to day situation.

Same here

If you check the BC Hockey twitter account, they have video of York dropping puck tonight. As he comes off the ice i think he says something to rask about having a young dman coming next year but i can't make out the rest. Maybe one of you can.

Kid says he thinks he told rask he has a young finnish dman coming next year, I just didn't hear that part. It would obviously make sense if that's what he said.

Saturday night was so bizarre. also weird, I think yukon had the shortest bench (not due to people getting tossed) that I've ever seen. it looked half empty at times.

Pretty interesting stuff. I have been tracking stats for BC performance in the NCAAs under York for quite a while and always found a very interesting conclusion. The first team to get to 3 goals almost always wins.

In 46 games:
- A team failed to get to three goals only 7 times.
- In the other 39 games, only twice has the first team to reach 3 goals lost the game
- So of the applicable 39 games, about a 95% winning percentage (37-2)

bringing this over from another thread.

can anyone name the 2 without cheating?

I couldn't

Let me know when you want the answers... if you cheat and look it up and find the answers don't post them. Let's see if anyone can put some good guesses in.

I'll guess the 2000 NC game against North Dakota.
And 2008 vs Miami at Worcester?

they tied us up at 3 so not the Miami one. I got goose bumps looking at the video of that freaking game. Had to drive to Wooster myself and boy was it worth it.

Wasn't sure, but I thought Miami may have been the first to 3.
We only scored 2 in 2000 so that isn't it either. I don't have a good enough memory for any more guesses. ;)

Didn't see this on here but Merrimack and BC are playing Wisconsin. Mack and BC each go to Wisconsin for 2 games and Wisconsin travels here twice to play at the Mack and BC. It goes between 2016-17 and 2019-20

Wait... BC over UNH in the HE Championship. They went up like 4-1? and we roared back and won it. Don't remember the year. Not that long ago. Does HE post season count?

Just NCAAs. No one has guessed either of the two games yet. I will admit one of the two is always surprising... I almost forget that game happened and it was terrific.
