  • RPI Hockey 2015 - 2016:: Six Flags Over the HFH

Yes, I know that the title isn't entirely accurate, but "Six Flags Over the East Goal in the HFH" is a bit long.

I'll take the creation of the new thread as an opportunity to pimp out this season's Pick to Click contest again. Come play, it's fun!

Jeff Cox picks us #11 in the ECAC -- and that's with Brady Wiffen. http://www.sbncollegehockey.com/2015...-cornell-union

.....he also calls Praps, Mark and says Kazzy’s Fr. year injury was an ankle.
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

And he bumps Brown up to #8 based on the possibility that their goaltending and defense aren't as bad as we think they are.

Not clear what caused NCAA Hockey to tweet this today, but it is worth posting.

Less intellectually stimulating than the response one gets from a Union fan when asking them to stop drooling on your order at Burger King.
Keep an open mind. Just don't be so open-minded that your brain falls out.

One thing to remember about Jeff Cox is that he tends to watch and scout a lot of NE prep hockey. These are not players we tend to get, and a lot of them go on to Hockey East or Ivies (such as Brown). Doesn't mean his predictions are wrong, but I think it causes his to favor these teams naturally, because he has seen more of their players through the years.

The ECAC middle is always a jumble, so even a few spots difference isn't a big deal. And they're just predictions.

Isn't the east goal the one down at the other end, where the stage used to be?

Then maybe it's a good thing Ralph didn't put the longer title. River's to the west, you go down the hill to the river, you can see down the hill from the windows, so it's the west end where the flags are.

Yes. My mistake was thinking that was where the flags are.
