  • Mercyhurst University Hockey 2015-2016: Drilling down on the plan ahead.

Another season behind us with mixed results, time to drill down on the plan ahead of us!

Anyone seen any details on schedules for next season?

With eleven (11) seniors departing, who will be stepping up and providing leadership?

Goaltending has been very strong down the stretch with the rookie, grooming/adding a strong second to the tandem has to be a priority in light of recent past injuries.

Defense pairings, what to expect and do we have the pieces in the stable or recruits to be successful.

A great many forwards are departing, who can be expected to step up and take the reins.

With 14 scholarships hockey should improve overall in the conference in the years ahead, is Hurst on a 2 year, 3 year or 4 year plan at this point.

Hey guys, not a bad total for players wishing to continue some Pro hockey prior to putting that degree to work. Congratulations to every single graduating player who played their hearts out over the years, and good luck to those that are continuing their playing days. I look forward to following these fine young men as they test their metal, and pave the path for future Hurst players who will follow in their steps.

Make it eight that have signed professional contracts for the Mercyhurst University men's hockey team.
