J. C. Brassard leads all Dutchmen with a +5 .... not bad for the Sophmore Defensemen from the academic elite Nobles & Greenough Prep School. And his teammate, Connor Light is also from another elite prep, Phillips Academy in Andover.

Vermont has played possibly the toughest schedule in College Hockey.
- 12 of their matchups have been against ranked teams at the time they played them ...

We are one of the youngest teams in D-1 College Hockey according to CHN
- 10th youngest out of 60 teams
- 2nd youngest in the ECAC

Vermont's strength is defense, weakness is the power play and penalty kill. They are improving and beat BU at Againis and St. Lawrence. They have some injuries but the backups have been performing well. With Tri-semester our focus should be all hockey.

One of the worse efforts on the part of the Dutchman. Terribly sloppy passing, out of position, broken coverage. We looked like week one. Kudo's to UVM, great hustle and defense and speed. Sak saved our butt more than once. Somehow we found a way to come back being down 2-0 and win but it was sure ugly. This is a much better UVM team than their record shows. Nice article Ryan - good choices. Another strength: Penalty kill at 53 of 59 (despite a scorekeeping error giving Harvard a PP goal one second after penalty expired). Even with team success in recent years, I don't recall Union PK being so good.
