Re: Bemidji State Beavers: Looking Forward to 2015-16!

And here is what I have been able to piece together for next year's schedule.

Home: Mankato, Huntsville, Ferris, Lake Superior, Alaska, Michigan Tech, Bowling Green, Arizona State, North Dakota (one game January 1 or 2)
Away: Mankato, Huntsville, Ferris, Lake Superior, Alaska, Anchorage, Northern Michigan, St. Cloud, North Dakota (one game January 1 or 2)
Neutral: North Star Cup (Gophers first round due to BSU not having a non-conference series with them)
Undecided: Duluth (I am hoping for a home and home to keep the schedule balanced)

38 games due to the exemptions received for the Alaska road games.

The Beavers look good up front and have Bitzer (okay, dude's good) in back, but losing those three key guys on the blue line has to hurt.

I agree, next year looks to be good up front, but losing Prapavessis, Windle and Rendle will hurt. Windle and Rendle were the shut down pair and Praps did it all. But I always kind of worry about sophomore slumps.....

I hope to getting around to doing my in depth recap and look ahead next week.

I'm thinking about to make my first trip to the Sanford Center next season when the Lakers play the Beavers. Hopefully the games there will be in early November. Obvious reason is the weather.

Re: Bemidji State Beavers: Looking Forward to 2015-16!

St. Cloud released their schedule and BSU is not on it. So that puts BSU at 36 games. They could play 2 more with the Alaska exemptions, but playing 38 games means you lose one of your bye weeks to rest up.

I hope to work on the Former and Future Beavers during lunch sometime in the next week.... Work is kicking my a** right now.

Corbett said after 13-14 that he didn't anticipate playing 38 games in a season again unless we had 18 home games, which seems impossible for UAH given teams' unwillingness to travel here. You may unfortunately see the same thing in Brrrrmidji.

I have not heard anything. But North Dakota has released theirs and I have seen conflicting reports. One said a home and home January 1 and 2, the other said home and home October 16 and 17. Also, Arizona State released theirs and they will be in Bemidji January 15th and 16th.

As mentioned earlier, St. Cloud released their schedule and BSU is not on it. I would think the North Star Cup will be January 22 and 23 and I have not seen when the UMD series will be, but I would guess either over Thanksgiving Break or October 9 and 10.

As mentioned earlier, St. Cloud released their schedule and BSU is not on it. I would think the North Star Cup will be January 22 and 23 and I have not seen when the UMD series will be, but I would guess either over Thanksgiving Break or October 9 and 10.
BSU at Duluth on October 9, in Bemidji October 10.
