With 13 LOI's, I'm guessing we could possibly see up to nine players joining the team next season, although the announcement doesn't state which players will or won't be here next fall.

College hockey should do something about you arrogant elites poaching top recruits from the poor little B1G schools.

The NCAA should have known not to allow so many "like-minded" weak teams to go off and form the western equivalent of Atlantic Hockey.

This is D1 hockey under a new regime. They don't pass out participation ribbons. Apparently some in the Soo would prefer that.

Correct. In order for damon to deploy his proven method of coaching he must cleanse the bench of the "rocks". Ncaa frowns upon cutting incoming seniors. Cleansing the sophomore lads allows for the fresh start he needs to focus on his recruits. 2015-16 we will make it to the final 8... Damon must succeed or "hello D3". The gravel remaining may be plucking splinters from the bench. In any case those that got cut are skilled good young men-very sad for them but such is life. Wonder what the blue liners and alumni think? But who cares. We have damon and he "roques"

Mitch Hults (94 birth date) has switched his commitment from Minnesota to the Lakers. His younger brother Cole (98 birth date) has also committed to the Lakers. This sounds like a big pickup for the Lakers.

Wow. Whitten and Co. must be doing something right to be enticing Golden Gopher caliber recruits...

Agree. Mitch Hults should be able to provide some offensive help for the Lakers and his younger brother Cole is regarded as a very good defensive prospect.
