Sounds like a great way to end tomorrow night.

that's tec(H) with an h. its not like we haven't been to the X before. we have, at least twice. its just that we don't often come in after having home ice and being ranked in the top ten in the country.

I enjoyed how the poster apparently also assumed there are no native Minnesotans who went to Tech.

It's going to be tough to beat Minnesota State, they are just a **** good team top to bottom and are handling Ferris pretty easily. Either way we're going to the NCAA tourney and I couldn't be happier about that.

BG needed a St Lawrence win to get in. With Colgate winning both they and Harvard are in I think. That puts BG on the outside in any scenario I can think of.

Every situation I can think of has BG as 16, and with an AHA team getting in it looks like they're out. Only 2 WCHA teams this year...

BG can still get in with wins by MTU, BU, Harvard, Miami, and Minnesota. So yeah, we're pretty much out.

Yes. The band later asked the heads of security about going shirtless with body paint, and security said no dice. Couldn't even just wear the striped overalls. Had to have a shirt on.

Edit: same lot tomorrow. Sounds like more people will be there earlier (10am or so) to beat the Wild crowd to the lot. The DQ is no more, but look for a dry cleaners. Same lot. Tom Reid himself stopped by to say hi. The official word is, if he (or any of his employees) "don't know about the tailgate" winkwink, we're good to go.

                          The rules are simple:

                          1. Don't be a dikc.
                          2. CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF.

                          All are welcome.

Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

I don't have the time or money to drive up there and bail you out, and ... well ... Brent won't be any help ...

Huh, must be the only situation I didnt try. This situation only works if North Dakota does not win the 3rd place NCHC game. That being said there's just as good a chance of this happening as anything else. I'll be rooting for it to happen. BG is too good of a team to not get a bid...

MTU Hockey fan since I was carried to a game in 1986 - for those counting... that's a lot of depressing hockey. Still love it.
