  • D-III Women's Bracketology

Our friends at the "other site", D-III Bracketology, Take II have posted their projection for this week. I expect our western friends are not going to be happy. Not only does it project a 5-3 split, but it has Adrian, the Western #1, traveling to Elmira for a QF game with the Eastern #1 team.

Citing the selection handbook, if Adrian gets in and Stevens Point does not, it appears Adrian has to play Elmira. Talk about unfair... that said, I thought the comparison for the last Pool C was very close, and I thought it would go to Stevens Point. A lot is going to happen in the next 10 days before a final bracket is released!

If corn oil is made from corn, and vegetable oil is made from vegetables, then what is baby oil made from?

It's weird to think that Adrians best road to the final four would be to lose in the NCHA championship game.

I don't think I'd advise taking that route.

While I think they'd be in, I wouldn't bet my season on it...

Gustavus should be done, lost 6-3 to Bethel.

Not so fast.... I compared them to Amherst and Trinity in the east and it would seem Gustavus beats both of them in the comparisons. I don't know for sure they are done. Gustavus has to be rooting for Adrian, Middlebury, and Norwich next weekend though. Any of those lose and it's definitely all over for the Gusties.

I think they get their wish. Winner of LF and SNC upsets Adrian in final!

We'll have a better idea tomorrow.
GAC's numbers probably dropped and with using new numbers and comparing the three after this past weekend, I bet Trinity and Amherst have GAC beat as of today.

                      This week's numbers are out...

I think the comparison with Trinity is little more in favor of Trinity as you suspected. Trinity wins SOS, RNK, and L25. GAC is still ahead in WIN.

Now this week's rankings are out:
                      3/3/15 NCAA Regional Rankings

Bethel does check in at the end of the Western rankings. Other than that, not much changed.
