Congratulations, in particular, to Kevin Dineen. After his success with the Canadian Women's team in the Olympics he followed it up as an integral part of Chicago's Stanley Cup winning effort. He seems to have himself well positioned to earn another shot at an NHL head coaching job when such a spot inevitably becomes available.
Condolences, in particular, to Matt Carle. In addition to playing on the defeated squad in the Stanley Cup finals, Matt had the dubious distinction of finishing with a minus ten [-10] figure in the plus/minus category. Three hundred thirty nine [339] players--excluding goalies--appeared in at least one Stanley Cup playoff game this spring. None finished with a lower plus/minus figure than Matt. I'm guessing that will provide him with all the motivation he needs this summer to improve his play for the coming season.

2016 draft prospect Dante Fabbro also had DU and UND in his NCAA final five
Colorado Thunderbirds--Baker Shore and DU recruit Dayton Rasmussen have been invited to 2015 USA Hockey Player Development Camps/Festivals this summer in Amherst,NY.
I loved the gratuitous tweet at the end of the article: "At no time while I was at Northeastern did I have contact with any other NCAA school."
That is probably "technically" correct: HE didn't have contact. We know, and at least three other coaches know, that his word and his promises are as good as Gold.

Can't disagree. Szmatula Gets the"A" and then quits. Seems to have a really short attention span to say the least. Egocentric?? Selfish?? Who is giving him advice and does he even listen?? (Can't recall any incoming transfers at DU.)
Can understand he holds Coach Monty in high regard, but if his goal is the NHL -- picking and choosing your coach is not part of the deal.
As an alum can certainly understand why he would want to go to DU
Incoming Freshman Troy Terry rated 107 and 2016 recruit Liam Findlay 199 by final NHL scouting report.
But tell me, how is it possible Trevor Moore is not on the list?
Playing at the Duvision I level in the toughest conference, Trevor has racked up 76 points in two years--32 as a freshman and 44 last year. He was selected as the NCHC Forward of the Year, 1st Team All-Conference, and 2nd Team All American.
