Patrick Wiercioch--he has been so good through the first 5 games of this series it'd be criminal not to look at his playoffs as a whole so far.
Tied for the team lead in points with 4
Tied for the team lead in goals with 2
Tied for the team lead in powerplay points with 3
Leads the team in shooting percentage at 25%
Second on the team in powerplay ice-time

Joe Colborne had 18 hits in Round 1. Been using that "Jumbo" body to good effect. Will be needed vs Ducks.
    GO DU !!!

        Yes,,I Know.
Wiercioch was healthy scratch 19 times, but has had far more impact since Cameron took over.. Glad to see it.

Happy that Donovan and Mayfield got to play (at least the last game on Long Island was a win and du78 was there)
From si.com: "For their part, Mayfield and Donovan played a physical game largely free of glaring errors, an admirable performance for players who played a combined 12 games during the 2014-15 campaign and made their playoff debuts in Game 6"

                  Men's lacrosse final score:

                  Georgetown--12
                  Marquette--8

These teams met in the first of two semi-final games in the Big East post-season lacrosse tournament. The winner of today's second game--matching Denver and Villanova--will meet Georgetown on Saturday night with the winner of that game receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA Lacrosse tourney.

Men's lacrosse score after 1st period:

                    Villanova--5
                    Denver--3

Denver has never led. Wes Berg has all three Denver goals. Trevor Baptiste having an uncharacteristically bad day on faceoffs.

                      Denver--7
                      Villanova--5

Much better quarter. A couple of man advantage goals. Baptiste won every faceoff of the period. Denver held the ball for nearly the entire quarter on offense.

                        Denver--12
                        Villanova--7

A second consecutive strong period for the Pioneers highlighted by Denver scoring a goal while a man down. Denver starts the 4th quarter with a man advantage.

I don't mind Zucker scoring a goal for the Wild as long as the Hawks win.
