Are 2015 DIII Commitments posted anywhere ? I dont see them in the usual places.
I know its a little early for most.
yes early for D3 committs,if you go to collegecommitments, com they will have most, there are about a dozen so far but a lot of players hold out hope for the D1 offer, then when it doesnt happen they make their move.
Well here are a few that have decided to go to The U early..Utica that is..
Hayden Dawes 6'4 229lb RW from the AJHL
Xavier Perron 5' 11 160lb from the NSJHL
I saw the Dawes announcement on the AJHL webiste the other day. He's got a 33gm-8g-13a-85pim line playing for the Drayton Valley Thunder. He's 3rd on his team in scoring and surprisingly also 3rd in penalty minutes. Lot's of guys racking up the pims in that league.
Given his size he should make a heck of a screen for goalies to deal with next year. Defenses are going be exhausted trying to push him out of the crease.

the biggest thing for a big guy like that is CAN HE SKATE?????
the biggest thing for a big guy like that is CAN HE SKATE?????
Given that fact that he didn't seem to attract any DI attention, my guess is that he isn't the fastest skater in the world. Still, he is putting up .6 pt/game, and he'll make going into the corners an adventure for the opposition. Should be fun to watch at the Aud next season.
