Welcome everyone to the ECAC Weekly Pick 'em contest, 2014-15 edition! The first 3 weeks of this contest are the "preseason", where you will pick the winners for each ECAC non-conference game. You get one point for each correctly picked win, and two points for each correctly picked tie. After the first 3 weeks, the poster with the most points will receive a bonus point in the "regular season" contest, which will consist of only league games that count in the ECAC standings.
Brett Gobe is the defending champion. To play, simply post who you think the winner will be for each game, or mark a contest as a tie with the word "tie". Also, please enter the total goals scored by ECAC teams, as that will serve as a tiebreaker. I will record your score based on the absolute value of the difference between predicted and actual ECAC goals scored. I strongly recommend that you copy and paste the games listed below into a new post, and submit your picks in the order of the games listed by either bold-facing the winner or simply writing "tie" next to a game. This will make keeping score much easier for me. Anyone can play, and good luck to all!
Note: because RPI's Sunday opponent is dependent on another game's outcome, I have listed both possible outcomes. Please pick a winner for both possible situations, and the actual game that is played will be used for this contest.
