The team finished last season (in conference play) 0-9-1 dropping out of playoff contention. This year they've started 0-4-1 and they are a whopping 0/29 on the power play!! They haven't had a PP in years. The girls come in with a lot of skill, but don't improve as the season goes on as other teams do. When do you start looking at the coaching as the root cause? If this were the men's team, this would not be acceptable and it will get harder and harder to recruit (already is hard given the nature of academics). Been watching this fiasco long enough now.

It's not as if the men's team has a power play this season either.

As far as I can tell, every team in the ECAC is 0-0-0 in the games that decide who makes the playoffs.

True but mark my words. This team has been trending in the wrong direction over the past several years and that's not going to change this year either. Other changes will need to be made at some point in time.

Unfortunately, no video feed for today's game. RPI has finally broken their long Power Play drought with two PP goals early in the second to take a 2-0 lead over UConn. Gruschow and Schilter.
