  • Former Babson player Corey Griffin drowns

Really sad story here on former Babson player Corey Griffin drowning hours after raising $100,000 for his friend Pete Frates, the man who inspired the ALS ice bucket challenege.

Temper is one thing you can't get rid of by losing it.

God gave everyone patience-The wise use it.

A tragic ending for a young life that had made an impact wherever he went....

The media has made it sound like diving from the old "Juice Guys" building is a routine rite of passage here on "the Rock"...it is neither routine nor a regular occurrence.... At 2am it is very dark at that end of the docks...the building is nearly two full stories and the climb up an external staircase with a jump up to the roofline is dangerous enough...then try to clear 10 feet of brick, seawall and large wooden pilings into the harbor...one slip and you are eating your teeth on the deck...at low tide, the bottom of the harbor comes into play...at 2am on that day, it was mid tide headed to low...

Young people sometimes make poor choices...hell old people make poor choices too...what makes this so sad is that someone who routinely made great choices to benefit others made one very poor choice to the detriment of himself.
