DU recruit Troy Terry chosen for U18 Ivan Hlinka Tourney team. He is 1 of 5 that played on the undeafeated U17 Five Nations Tournament Team. Also on the winning Colorado Thunderbirds U16 Championship team.
              This boy is a WINNER!
Troy Terry-F-Thunderbirds U16(Denver)- Terry chose to stay at the U16 level for a second straight year this year--maybe not a bad choice. The T-birds have an elite U16 team and a so-so U18 team--and he was pretty dominant at the U16 level, like you'd expect. He's smaller, but has incredible hand-eye coordination and always a dangerous scoring threat.

I'm trying to recall if Hlinka was on the Czech team that tied the Pioneers in the old barn in '69. I think so. They had another big center in those days, Vaclav Nedomansky. He was 6'1" or 2" and wound up with the Red Wings. In the Silver Medal game in Sapporo, Nedomansky had US goalie Mike Curran set up for the kill. Midway through the 3rd. US leading 3-1. But he fanned with Curran down on the ice. He whirled, got off a shot but Mike stuffed him. Curran had given up a goal in the first minute, but shut them out for 59 minutes making about 50 saves, many on his lips. On the next rush up the ice the US scored. 4-1, sted 3-2. Game over. A most pleasant memory. Man, those guys were good. And it gives you some idea of how good DU was that we could play with them. If he could, Murray would have scheduled the Canadiens.

Didier and Makowski will be with the Canadiens and Pioneer wannabe Mike Szmatula was also invited.

Viz: Hope the new site is easier to maneuver on then the old one. If what I see is correct, it seems fine. Just need to buy clothes and get PioVision easily.

Who are you rooting for in the World Lax Championships? I'm pulling for Canada since it has 6 current or former players on the roster plus asst. coach Matt Brown.

I don't understand the love affair with the floating header. It is a LOT less obnoxious now than it was on the previous incarnation, but I don't get it. Do people really forget that they are at the DU website and need the constant reminder? It eats up so much of the screen! That said, it does look much nicer than that last debacle of a website.

It was easier for me to navigate on "Littlenakedchinesegirls.com" than on our website. Any improvement will result in a decline in my BP.

Joe Colborne filing for arbitration with the Flames. Qualifying offer was for $660,000. Played 60 games and had 28 points.

How about Canada vs the Iroquois Nation for the title> Then we could see 8 of the 9 past, current or future Pios in one game.
