    D. Alison Era, Plattsburgh
    G. Sydney Aveson, Plattsburgh

    2nd Team-
    F. Shannon Stewart, Plattsburgh
    F. Megan Myers, Utica
    F. Tori Salmon, Amherst
    D. Hanna Beattie, Williams
    D. Brittany Sharman, Norwich
    G. Paula Stephens, Castleton

I like both team selections except for Sharman being a 2nd teamer. Don't think I've seen a better battle winning, skate the puck out of the zone defenseman than this player in Div 3. When you look at the low number of shots and goals given up by Norwich, it's directly related to players like Sharman,Guay and Parsons. These three captains are a huge reason why Norwich is where they are.

I'd probably rate Parson as the best D on Norwich, and put her on team.
      Go 'Wick!

I agree completely on those three D and what they've meant to this team this year.

Take your pick on any of the three, but Sharman and Guay were the ECAC First Team selections so they'll be the two that have the shot at the AA nod.

In my opinion, Sharman has been the team's most consistent player throughout the entire course of the season. Charron has certainly done work down the stretch though for NU and I hope everyone's got two more games left in them like they played against Castleton and especially Elmira.

If you were staring a team, she (Parsons) would probably be your one of your first picks based on her size, speed and skill. But the awards your taliking about are based on the 2013/14 season and Sharman has been just a step above the rest all year long.

I have to admit watching Middlebury the most this past season and wish to take nothing away from any of the outstanding student athletes you have named, but Carly Watson was as good as any D I saw this season (and was 1st Team All-NESCAC).

Great to see the Ephs H. Beattie make First Team on D as a frosh.

So sad no Midds on the list.... What were they thinking? Better check for hanging chads.
