Since 21 out of 25 Olympian's went through the college ranks figured why not start a thread. Here are the seedings. #8 Austria vs #9 Slovenia vs #1 Sweden. #7 Czech rep.vs #10 Slovakia vs #2 USA. #6 Swiss vs #11 Latvia vs #3 Canada. #5 Russia vs #12 Norway. Vs #4 Finland... The biggest break award goes to Russia for drawing the easiest path to the Gold medal final.Looks like USA , Canada semi scenario...

Regardless, three of the top five are in the other half of the bracket. They definitely have the toughest road to the Final. The US only has to get by Sweden. The three toughest teams are the US, Canada, and Russia. And I'm ecstatic that we won't see either of the other two before the gold medal game.

Re: 2014 USA Olympic Hockey
Hope USA play's Canada, and hope we stomp them finally. Is it unfair to want USA and Canada to always be ranked #1 and #2? It somehow just doesn't seem right we won't be playing them for the gold, I was born in '92 so I'm accustomed to us two playing for the gold.Just to be clear. My disinterest in this team became of the Uni's disinterest. Without the success of the hockey team, the other teams would not be where they are. Way to pay back the hockey team. **** UAA.
