Hello everyone. The game has been moved from 7 to 5, so the game is near start. Dartmouth, coming off of a 4-2 win over BU Wednesday and UNH on a 3 game win streak. This is the 13th edition of the Riverstone Cup battle. UNH leads the series. The teams do play annually at the neutral Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH.

DeSmith is in net once again for the 'Cats. Quast remains out and Kelleher returns to the lineup for UNH. The starters for UNH are Sorkin-Goumas-Willows as the forwards and Knodel-Van Riemsdyk. The #20 UNH Wildcats (12-10-1) lost in the 2012 Ledyard Classic to Dartmouth (3-11-2). Game is almost underway.

1-0 Dartmouth. A shot beat DeSmith 5-hole and the Big Green take the early lead on the Wildcats.

Goumas with the tying goal for UNH. The fish was thrown as per UNH home game usual. UNH is considered the host this year. 1-1 score.

PP goal for UNH 10 seconds into the high sticking penalty. Deflection made by Willows with the shot from the point by Knodel. The PP combination of Sorkin-Goumas-Willows-Knodel-Van Riemsdyk has been on fire the last handful of games.

After 1, UNH leads Dartmouth 2-1. Goals by Schierhorn from Opperman (Dartmouth), Goumas from Maller and Agosta, and Willows on the PP from Knodel and Van Riemsdyk (UNH).

Remains 2-1 UNH after 2. No goals in the 2nd, but there were many great chances, especially in the middle of the period by UNH.
