Lost it in overtime with a shot right over O'Brien's shoulder. Never fun to lose after you make it to OT but it was good to see the team push hard to get the goals to take the game to OT in the first place.

A bit of information about St. Mary's for tonight. I know nothing of their program but friends tell me that their current coach who has led the team for about 15+ years has a strong winning record(approximately 250-140) and that this team has been strong the past 5 years. They were not th ebiggest team last year with only a couple players over 200 pounds but almost the entire team is in the 190 range. They had a couple of NHL draft picks on the team last year but both were selected 5-7 years ago as 3rd and 6th round choices. i suspect that we will be facing a team that is considerable older than our boys-most of the Canadian schools have players in the 21-23 year old category.
Here's hoping we get off to a great start-score some goals and avoid any injuries. Let's Go Red!!!

I have given up on all but the Recruits thread. To be honest, it doesn't bother me to have posts here about the women's game, but at least no one posted any football updates today.
