The Gophers enter the season with a 49-game winning streak, but we all know that will be broken at some point. Which opponent stops their run? If you'd like to win this prediction outright, the first tiebreaker is the date of the game, second tiebreaker is margin (0, 1, 2, etc.), and third tiebreaker is final score. Exhibitions don't count.

ARM, you will be impressed with the face lift of the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center (us rebel fans will still affectionately call it "The Concrete Center").

Either way game 7 is vs Benmidji at Benmidji Oct 25, Game 8 is the next day against Benmidji as well. I think they won't get there. They will fall in Duluth at the hands of the Bulldogs on Oct 18...Score 3-2 in favor of the Bulldogs....to stop the streak at 53.

Re: What team ends the Minnesota winning streak?
I was a homer and voted for my Buckeyes, but we may not get the chance as we don't play Minnesota until 12/7 in Columbus. If others are right, the streak will have ended before our series.
