What is up with the Miami (OH) game being played at 6:20 on a Friday night on October 25th?

That is the same night as midnight madness for men's hoop. I would think the hope is an earlier start means all students stay for the entire game. Last year, almost the entire student section emptied out at the end of the second period to head over to alumni.

I'm thankful that they're finally addressing that issue. In past years, LNM would be on a Friday or Saturday that hockey was away for. Last year (and the year before) was horrendous.
Places I've Seen a College Hockey Game: Agganis Arena, Alfond Arena, Compton Family Ice Arena, Conte Forum, Cross Insurance Arena (Cumberland County Civic Center), Dunkin' Donuts Center, Gutterson Fieldhouse, Fenway Park, Matthews Arena, Mullins Center, Pegula Ice Arena, Ralph Engelstad Arena, Schneider Arena, T.D. Garden, Tsongas Center, Thompson Arena, University of Southern Maine, Webster Bank Arena, Wells Fargo Center, Whittemore Center

Good for the students but not good for people that work full time!

#9 vs. #10 to start the season! Quite a change from when we met last year.

With the Kiprusoff announcement, are there any rumors swirling around campus?

Why would there be? He's certainly not making the jump to Calgary this year.

Hey Friar Hockey fans, just wanted to remind folks of a site for discussion on all things Friar Hockey:

                              http://www.friartownhoops.proboards....chneider-arena

The main site also has forums for PC Men's bbal and recruiting as well as other PC sports forum and few other goodies.

Check it out, join (it's free), always looking for more Friar hockey fans to join the fun, especially with the Friars on the upswing.
