On Wednesday, the Sudbury Nickel Barons lost to the Blind River Beavers 6-5 in overtime. Bradley Bell had a goal, an assist, and a tripping penalty. http://www.nojhl.com/game/game_sheet/5425071

Bell's line is now 12-4-3-7-8.

unfortunately, it was Bell's tripping penalty in OT that had a hand in the goal. But Sudbury being up 5-2 and taking 7 penalties in the 3rd period didn't help either.

That would be appropriate. Someone is certainly due to break the streak since Cole Bruns' history certainly didn't predict 300 minutes of shutout hockey. If he extends that to 360, perhaps we could sign him for Friday.

Great to see that especially Bell since it is hard to figure out how good he is playing in the NOJHL. Camp starts on 10/28.

Edit: I'll save Wicked the trouble of posting that more players from Cornwall were invited (7) than the entire NOJHL (5).

On Thursday, the Cedar Rapids Roughriders defeated the Fargo Force 7-1. Carlos Fornaris did not dress, but I did notice that he was awarded a second assist in the one game in which he played. http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.co...gameid=2234483
