huge game for Carlos....4assists....CR beats Dbq. 5-3 they'll now play a 5 min. 3x3 OT. CR scores 12 seconds into OT, .... http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.co...gameid=2266029

They put Carlos on a line with our top 2 returning forwards and Carlos thrived. Two of his assists were jaw dropping. He was crazy good in the third period. As a RPI fan you should buy the game on

On Tuesday, the Cedar Rapids Roughriders defeated the Dubuque Fighting Saints 5-3. Carlos Fornaris had four assists. He was named #3 star. http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.co...gameid=2266029

Fornaris' preseason line is now 4-0-4-4-2.

Thanks for your report. Looking at the stats, he seems to have helped them also since each of them had only one point before this game.

On Wednesday, the Omaha Lancers lost to the Sioux Falls Stampede 4-3 in overtime (4-2 after 3 periods) . Drew Melanson had no points or penalties. http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.co...gameid=2265987

Melanson's preseason line is now 1-0-0-0-0.

It looks like the 3 on 3 OT's are not included in the USHL boxscores if the game isn't tied going into OT.

Yeah, I noticed that from last nights' game with CR.....I just happened to be listening to it on the net. That's why I knew CR's scored 12 seconds into OT.

However, I am wrong.

The final box is now posted and includes an OT goal and an additional late 3rd period goal which must have been missed. I'll change my earlier post.
