Thursday, March 13
6 p.m. - No. 2 Malden Catholic vs. No. 3 Springfield Cathedral
8 p.m. - No. 1 BC High vs. No. 4 Austin Prep
If you go, and I highly recommend it…Besides Springfield Cathedral freshman goalie Keith Petruzzelli (Quinnipiac commit), there are the plethora of other committed players to watch: D.J. Petruzzelli (QU), John Leonard (UMass), Peter Crinella (Holy Cross); Tyler Sifferlen (Lowell), Ara Nazarian (UNH), Matt Filipe (NU) on Malden Catholic; Bobo Carpenter (BU) on Austin; Pat Kramer (Merrimack) on BC High.
But in addition, watch for:
#5 BC High Ryan Shea - sophomore, poised beyond his age, dad was a BC legend, has offers already from just about every HE school, has taken official to 2 HE schools - best player on ice bar none
#1 BC High Brandon Payzant - sophomore goalie takes up a lot of the net, good agility, good glove
#22 Austin Prep JJ Layton - sophomore d-man, big, physical, can move the puck
#21 Austin Prep Eric MacAdams - sophomore, good hands, decent size, could blossom, been injured much of year
#33 Austin Prep Elijah Harris - one of the highly touted goaltending prospects in area, real small, Dominik Hasek style mask
Devon Tongue #20, Dan Petrick #7 and Riley Prattson #5 on Springfield Cathedral -- all are '99s who will be highly sought after over next few years. Tongue is 8th grader on 3rd line, but oozes skill. Prattson is good and if he fills out he could be a big time prospect.

Thanks for the list. Sounds like a few of those guys would probably never look at Lowell. But who knows...?
No kidding. He's got a great shot at playing time here, that's for sure.

Lowell and two NCHC schools.
He's a Wisco kid, so I'm kind of surprised/happy they're not on the list. Being a 94, you'd think he'd be looking to make the jump next year. He turns 20 in May.

All star is a stretch. In my viewings he has made critical errors costing his team goals. He does show a good point shot and is on one of PP units. High character kid who lost his dad mid season.

He models his game after Marchand. This could be fun.

Plays with current Lowell recruit, Evan Anderson.
Tall, but seems a bit skinny at 174.
