I hate saying positive things about Brian Burke because he's such a hammerhead when it comes to the game on the ice but he does seem deeply committed to the idea that gays and women should have the same opportunities to play thuggish hockey that straight men do.

Bruins lost a great GM when the Maple Leafs fired him but he does have a very positive view on Women's hockey.
