Re: Bemidji State Beavers: Onto 2013-14 and Beyond

Note that Traverse City is an hour and a half from Ferris State, three hours from LSSU and two and a half hours from Grand Rapids and the WCHA Tourney. No guarantee I'll be at every game BSU plays over there (especially not knowing exactly what I'll be doing for work), but I'll let folks know if I am at any of those series.

I'm not usually one to talk about myself personally, but thought folks might like to know:
While many of you are aware, to some, this may come as a complete surprise. After 14 years in Bemidji at Paul Bunyan Broadcasting, I have officially submitted my letter of resignation. My final Bemidji HS sports broadcast came as the baseball team was eliminated this past Thursday night - my 1201st game announced on KBUN. My final day in Bemidji will be June 10th, as this represents not only an end at KBUN, but a move back to the state of Michigan. My wife, Betty, has accepted a position at the VA Clinic in Traverse City and she begins this Monday, June 3rd. Our house has already sold, and I'm in town to finish up packing and will follow her there in with the UHaul on the 11th.
I wanted to thank each and every one of you - those that have listened to either College Hockey Tonight or Lumberjack sports on KBUN or just me on KB101. It has obviously been a major part of my life, and there are some big adjustments ahead. I've got a few irons in the fire in Traverse City, and will be meeting with some folks once I hit town, but nothing is finalized yet.
Thanks again and all the best,
Moose Richards
