  • 2013 Early Departures

I know there was an "underclassmen" thread, but I'd like to include juniors leaving. I see that USCHO has a page now, but this can be a spot to break a few of the signings. I just started with a few.

-UMD sophomore D Chris Casto just signed with the Bruins organization
-UNO junior D Andrej Sustr signed with the Lightning organization
-LSSU junior F Kellen Lain signed with the Canucks organization
-LSSU sophomore F Buddy Robinson signed with the Senators organization
-UM junior D Jon Merrill signed with the Devils organization (drafted '10)
-WMU junior D Dan DeKeyser signed with the Red Wings organization
-UMass junior D Connor Allen signed with the Rangers organization
-Notre Dame junior F Anders Lee signed with the Islanders organization (drafted '09)
-BU junior F Matt Nieto signed with the Sharks organization (drafted '11)

    Go to the main page.

    Go down to quick links.

Look all the way to the right past all the Playoff Central Conference pages.

    Smack yourself.
tUMD is Jan Brady per Brenthoven. Whew.... thanks for clearing THAT up.

I smacked myself and edited my post as you were typing that. Still, some signings will break before they're added to that list.

From what I saw of Sustr I wasn't overly impressed. Seen him six times live, countless on TV (yet none at the X, weird...) and he was an ok collegiate player. Of course he is a tall drink of co... er... water and you can't teach size, so enjoy Syracuse

Most people know by now, but Jon Merrill signed with the Devils. I believe he's the first big name to leave early that would've played in the Big Ten's inaugural season. Trouba may be next to leave.

although not limited to early signings, here's another place you can follow....just clik on Pro Signings http://collegehockeyinc.com/
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

That signings page looks really good. This would be more of a place to break and discuss signings before they hit the big sites.

We could do guesses on his first game with the Panthers.

Congrats on the FA contract. Not sure he had that great of a year as the 23 year old junior finished a -1 on a pretty good defense-oriented team with a top goalie at WMU.

                          Stay at home physical defenseman.
