In keeping with the date, think of it as New England's version of Roscommon or Meath.
"Bogs in Rhode Island are distinguished by floating mats of Sphagnum (Sphagnum sp.) moss that 'quake' when walked upon. Bogs form in isolated depressions that continuously hold water, or as fringes along the shores of ponds."
Highest point in Rhody: 812 feet -- almost eight times taller than the New England Center (103 feet).
