Drew Melanson to play for the East Coast Kings in the NE Pro Am Chowder Cup Tournament. He's listed here at 5'11", 170 (5'10", 160 with Omaha) http://www.proamhockey.com/stats/ros...id=0&team_id=1
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

...2nd (3rd Overall) game tonight @ 6:50pm. There's an interesting kid playing on the ECK's, Craig Skudalski, he's 6'6", 215. I've seen him play a handful of games....bomb of a shot. Was a C-rated skater by CSS last year. Had an oppurtunity to talk with him this past winter @ Alb. Acad. Rider Cup Tourney, nice young man....still uncommitted. Oh, he was in Lincoln's camp last summer.

Not sure about the 5'11" but that could be right. The 170? I would love that to be correct and perhaps it is.

I see that DM is listed still as either a 2013 or 2014 recruit on the Chowder Cup roster http://www.proamhockey.com/stats/ros...0&team_id=1640. I wonder if this was copied from Heisenberg or if there is still a question.

....and here I thought you had the final. 2nd game a bit tougher as the ECK's settle for a 1-1 tie. DM didn't figure in the scoring. http://www.proamhockey.com/stats/off...p?game_id=3594

I was a little surprised to not see Charles Manley on a roster. Jason Salvaggio (South Kent School) & Chase Priskie (CM's teamate @ Selects U-16) are both playing on the same team in this Tourney. BTW, The Col.'s son, Shawn, is playing for the Boston Generals 96 (Black).

I was surprised that none of our other 2014 and later recruits are playing. Then again, what does a committed player have to gain from this besides a weekend of fun and perhaps playing with old friends.

Yeah, there are teams from Western Canada & Ontario playing. You may be right though about the non-urgency to be playing other than friends & fun.

Could be another Bourbonnais where the coaching staff's plan was not what we thought. We'll know come August though.
