I will start off with the expected answer....RIT will still be receiving votes... The west is over/under rated while the east is under/over rated! Oh, and sorry to be Captain Obvious, but Utica is getting no respect and the poll is bogus (unless Utica is #1, then the poll is completely accurate!)

With the committee trying to move the start date back to November for competition, a rather large amendment would have to occurr for there to be a poll in July

This will be the D3Hockey poll. The USCHO poll, given its general responsiveness, will be as follows:

I'm actually serious about it. If more BCS schools get involved in D-I hockey, then they won't want to share their money with the little boys and they will be kicked out. They did it in basketball and segregated football. Lacrosse will follow suit.

That's ok. I was only half joking. As a conventional classroom teacher in higher ed. I'm admittedly a dying breed.

(Or at least the herd is going to be thinned extensively.)

As a retired conventional classroom teacher in higher ed, I exploit more than one of those as a source of extra income so I don't have to draw down my TIAA-CREF.

                              Perfectly understandable.

Like it or not, the shift towards online higher ed. is likely to have a major impact on college athletics. It's just hard to predict what the nature of that shift will be at this point.
