probably not too fiscally responsible for them to be playing in the JWHL with all the travel involved.

you have to admit it's a little surprising that their school has lasted nearly 30 years as it is. it's a pretty horrible business model to have a school of 60, more than half of whom play one of the most expensive sports out there, and the rest of whom also participate in school funded athletics. when you don't have non-athlete students paying tuition to help defray the costs, i can see where there would be incredible strain on the finances, especially during a period like this.

When you give grants of more than $700,000 to the 60 or so kids who are there that puts a big strain on the sytem. You need an awful lot of non-athletes (or donations) to defray those kinds of "financial grants".
