Eiserman is so good. He will play in the NHL. Hope you enjoy him at UNH while he's there

Any thoughts from the exhibition? Was out with the family and checking scores but don't know anything about the game....

There was not a lot of effort tonight. The 'Cats werent chasing loose pucks, werent digging in the corners. It was clear that no one wanted to get hurt in a game that didnt mean anything. Wyer got the start and played decent, their goalie looked really good making multiple backdoor split saves. The only regulars who didnt play were Silengo and Agosta. in their spots were Correalle and Quast(who played pretty well for the first time ive seen him. He has good size and seemed pretty confident with the puck on his stick). Personally i think that exhibition games should stay during the preseason because this game seemed rather pointless.

Agreed - I watched the first period and UNH could not have been more disinterested. I love the games against the US-18's, especially with UNH recruits involved, but this one was rather uninspired. Not much you can take away from yesterday...

It was actually Kyle Smith who was in the line-up in place of Silengo, though he played on the 4th line wing. He made one nice touch pass in open ice, that's all I noticed...

UNH seemed very disinterested once up 2-0 and that bit them. Once the game was tied UNH had a little burst but seemed to get disinterested again pretty quick. Seemed a bit like watching pond hockey between friends - everybody wants to win but mostly have a good time and not get hurt.

NTDP-U18 Team goalie Demko was really on, multiple amazing saves, both pad and gloove. Kid has a sense of humor too. He was having fun with the (few) UNH students at the game. During "still an empty net" he just looked up smiled and shruged - causing laughter. He found the tetris game on the glass entertaining. Clapped his stick on the ice and waved the gloove at a couple of funny cheers. All in the 3rd period. Surprised he isn't committed anywhere for 2014. That would be DeSmith's Sr year - I am looking at you UNH coaching staff...

Funny conversation - would have loved to have heard it. NTDP 1st goal - nice wrap around, puck must have hit the back of the net and come back out. Ref behind the net Wyer still in a post to post split at front. Wyer looks over shoulder at ref (if it is a goal where is the puck?...) Ref starts lifting the twine to get the puck out. Wyer lifts his gloove and points in the crease, in front of him. Ref signals no goal. On review it was goal, would like to know what happened. Must have been funny "chat", certainly looked funny.

As of late October, Demko reportedly was talking to Cornell, Western Michigan, Northeastern, UMass, and Denver: http://www.westerncollegehockeyblog....-shines-in-net

Can’t agree more about Demko, really impressed with him all game, would love to the Cats make a push for him, and with Ayers as his goalie coach now, never know. He was very mobile with good size. Heard he was the star down in Merrimack to and against Minnesota a couple of weeks ago, he would look great in Blue and White

The team did seem disinterested until it became 2-2 then got a little physical. Have to say Downing and Block seemed to be into the game and were everywhere. Also liked what I saw out of Qast, he is a psychical player that can add that when and if we need it in the second half, maybe see him get a game or 2 to give the guys some rest. Also thought Wyer played well, can’t blame him for either goal, still not sure how the first one went in was right in front of me and still not sure and the 2nd one the D fell asleep. But he made some quality saves and looked good I thought.
