  • UNH vs. BU 11/18/12

Hey everyone. Today's game was moved from 4 to 1 because of the Patriots game shift from 1 to 4:25. Casey DeSmith is looking to extend his outstanding shutout streak today at Agganis.
Go Bruins, Patriots, Celtics, Revolution, Red Sox, Manchester United, and of course Wildcats. Come on 'Cats. We need a championship to come to Durham.

Even though this is not hockey, it relates to UNH. UNH's football team is in the NCAA FCS Tournament and has a first round bye, but is in the same bracket as #1 defending champions North Dakota State, #4 division rivals Old Dominion, and #5.Georgia Southern. UNH is on the half of the bracket with North Dakota State and opposite of Old Dominion and Georgia Southern.

          Hello there, 'Boy and Chad,

Wow -- didn't expect this -- that's 13 goals to nil over the past 3+ games. Sounds like a good start -- I'll have to crank up WNTK and listen in.

Hello. UNH is on a tear now and is dominating their opponents. DeSmith has a UNH all-time record for longest shutout streak.

Well, yesterday's game was certainly an exposition of the fact that UNH has needed to rely on offense to make up for all the points its defense gives up. Didn't happenagainst Towson -- what a blowout. If the D were as effective as the offense, they would/could go all the way. Don't see that happening.

The defense struggle yesterday. UNH's first game is in South Carolina at Wofford.

Change in start time was a surprise to me. Is the second period shot differential mostly due to all the penalties?
