    Better! Thanks.

Nothing better to help a team click than an inferior hated rival.

I hope a rival can bring some good out of this Gopher team. We will see, but my gut is still going with a split.....

Not that I would ever go that route in WCHA Pick 'Em!! #alwayspickgophersweeps

USCHO gives me another reason to not do work while I am at work.

Gophers sweep. You know it's bad in Beckyland when a Whioux fan offers up a bigger fight for you.

And it wes wouldn't be wes if he weren't sandbagging.

Ok, I'll bite and call my shot. Badgers silence the crowd at "The Mecca" winning Friday night 4-2 with 2 goals each from Barnes and LaBate and then come back Saturday and earn a 1-1 tie with Faust scoring the lone Badger goal and Rumpel recording 50 saves. Gopher fans everywhere lament how a clearly inferior program could come in and get 3 points.

You've been spending too much time in Colorado.

              Dear "Women" of Wisconsin:

Remember....."mixing in a salad" does NOT mean "grazing."

Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

I figure the team has been through so much BS the last couple of weeks, that they are going to come out flying this weekend.

Always an exception to the rule.

Besides, Kenosha is pretty much Illinois.

                            Preview from Gophersports

                            http://www.gophersports.com/sports/m...111412aaa.html

The No. 3 Minnesota men’s hockey team returns to action this weekend, hosting the Border Battle with Western Collegiate Hockey Association rival Wisconsin at Mariucci Arena. Friday’s series opener is set for 7 p.m. while Saturday’s follow-up will begin at 8 p.m. The Gophers are 155-86-20 all-time against the Badgers including a 90-27-7 record at home. The first of four meetings between two future Big Ten Conference teams this season, Minnesota and Wisconsin will also play twice in the second half -- once in Madison and in the first outdoor game in the modern era for the Gophers at the OfficeMax Hockey City Classic at Soldier Field in Chicago.

Wisconsin (1-4-1, 1-2-1 WCHA) is coming off a bye week -- the second-straight series in which Minnesota’s opponent has had a break before the series. The Badgers were swept by newly ranked Colorado College two weeks ago, losing 5-4 in overtime and 3-0. Wisconsin opened WCHA play against Minnesota-Duluth, winning 2-0 and tying 2-2. Michael Mersch is Wisconsin’s top active scorer with four goals this season (Mark Zengerle has 2-4--6, but is currently out of the lineup with an injury). Joel Rumpel (1-3-1) is the Badgers top goaltender this season with a 2.37 GAA and a .919 save percentage in 304:24 this year.
