After 1, the score is Northeastern 3, UNH 1. Sloppy first period for the 'Cats and even for the Huskies. The Wildcats need a better second and third period.

Burke with an assist and being pushed down to the ground by Northeastern. No penalty and a Goumas goal. 3-3 tie.

great period by the 'Cats, way to keep up the pressure. unh seemed to be getting thrown around during the first. but they stepped it up this period and nice job by desmith coming back from a shaky first period. Lets Go 'Cats!!!!!!!!

Rawlings was pulled after the 3rd UNH goal... pretty quick trigger, too, by Jim Madigan. Mountain played really well, too, until the final minute of the 3rd period, when he could not corral the initial shot by Silengo before Henrion got the rebound and chipped a backhander high into the right upper corner of the net for the UNH win with about 50 seconds to play.

Sorry I missed the party Craig. But glad it ended well, both on teh scoreboard, and with our traditional game ending swig.

Too crazy a night here for me to be aboard, as we get ready for our next meteorological carpet bombing:

Generators everywhere (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.) sold out by 6:15 this morning; bottles of water and batteries are gone too. We here at 08559 are at ground zero for 60 hours from now...
