                  So I decided to look at who in the top 10 have the best correct pick %s. These numbers do not include the Holiday Weekend Pick'em that was by all accounts a total failure (those numbers are still included in the overall point standings).

                  2. UncleRay - 58-27-7 (.668)
                  3. darker98 - 63-33-8 (.644)

                  Now, I didn't look at everyone's record, so it is possible that someone from those outside the top 10 in points may have a better % than someone inside the top 10 in points. I just thought some of you might enjoy seeing where you rank based on %.

                      A total failure from the point of view of how poorly we picked? I thought tourney weekend was a good idea, but needed to hit the thread much earlier. I also would have made a hard deadline for the whole weekend of first puck-drop on Friday - nobody (like me) allowed to make picks for the championship games after participants have been decided. With the week to week that we are in now, it makes little difference whether one picks Saturday games during the week or on Saturday, although Friday night results, injuries, suspensions, etc. could have an influence.

                        Total failure on my part in not doing it until the last minute and just the fiasco that ensued. Next season, I think I'll do hard deadlines. I just figured because I wasn't too strict on it this year, I shouldn't randomly enforce a strict deadline.
