    Eleven in the next class hopefully bodes well.
    I seem to remember an arguably equal number in 1964-1965 when, if my failing memory
    is accurate, the frosh team was superior to the varsity.

      Thanks for the link. One thing it points out is that beyond the big three and all the well deserved accolades they've earned, we had 3 other major contributors and one guy just waiting for his turn to shine. Kyle, Greg, and George had spectacular years, but without Wennie, Wick, Baker, and Gunnar we wouldn't have had the year we did. They each had noteworthy seasons themselves. I still maintain we went on our end of season tear when Wick went back on the 1st line and became a scoring machine himself. Those guys are the core of next year and when the juniors (Doherty, Thompson, and Martin) step up with the newcomers, we look real good.

      Thanks for the emotional roller coaster and a lot of fun. Bring 'em on and go Saints.

          Just saw we got another commitment from Mike Graham from Kent. Can't find much out about him, but good to see another name on the list!

            This is good news. Do you know if he is listed as a 2014 or 2015 recruit?

                On another note ... Does anyone have an idea what our schedule looks like for this coming season. It obviously hasn't been officially released yet, but I thought I remembered someone posting who we would be playing. Just curious what we can expect for non-league match-ups.

                      Looking at FD08's info, all that has been released by other teams is a thanksgiving matchup at NoDak (2) and 2 against RIT, along with our annual NC Clarkson game.

                        NoDak for two on the road? Yikes! ... I would assume the RIT games would be at Ritter considering they came to Appleton for two this year?

                          Be aware the NC Clarkson game was an educated guess; I have not heard any confirmation of you playing that.

                              Nice article. The start of a new season is a long way off but it would be nice if the Watertown Times could do an article or profile on each of the incoming players. It would be nice to know a bit more about each of them. From what I have heard "depth" is the operative word.....I don't think we'll see a replacement of the caliber of Hughes or Flanny in this bunch but it certainly would be nice to have the third and fourth lines not have a big fall off in talent. In addition it would be great to have some "spare parts" competing for ice time which is something we didn't have this year.

                                Not sure if I'll do it, but am saving money now to go to UND. RIT is a definite unless there's a blizzard.
