Not much more you can do. Most intimidating atmosphere in college hockey. No doubt, the loudest building.
(T)he renderings of the arena reminds men’s hockey head coach Guy Gadowsky of the old Hersheypark Arena from his playing days. The Hershey Bears called the arena home from 1936 to 2002.
“It was a tough place to play because it felt like the fans were right on top of you,” Gadowsky said. “When you walk around the arena [on the virtual tour], especially by the student section, you really get that feeling.”
When Acting Athletic Director Dave Joyner was asked about the Hersheypark Arena, he agreed.
“This is much more state of the art,” Joyner said. “The way the bowl is constructed with the seats looking directly down and the closeness of everybody to the action reminds me of the Hersheypark Arena.”
Pegula said he hoped the atmosphere would sound like a hockey game inside a garbage can. He said he hoped that was accomplished.Growing old is mandatory -- growing up is optional!

The reason for the talent in the west? Because MN didn't rely on Canada.

Originally posted by MGoBlueHockey View PostMNS, how would you feel about Michigan scheduling a home and home with nodak next year? Michigan has a huge hole in their non-conference next year since the conference schedule is only 20 games. I assume Michigan will be scheduling some of the directional schools.
Would love to see what the Ralph looks like in person.Jordan Kawaguchi for Hobey!!

That being said, I'll believe it when I see it.

Re: B1G Hockey: The Countdown Begins
Going back to our questions about Tom Osborne stepping down in Nebraska: University of Miami AD Shawn Eichorst is the new Nebraska AD. Eichorst used to work under Barry Alvarez at UW. Make of that what you will, I guess.

BRING BACK PAT RICHTER!!!
At his graduation ceremony from the U of Minnesota, my cousin got a keychain. When asked what UW gave her for graduation, my sister said, "A degree from a University that matters."

Similar to Michigan's AD who hoped that the atmosphere would look like a hockey game inside a garbage can. He said he hoped that was accomplished.
