  • Mark Bavis- Continuing to Remember

Not even a hope of being forgotten!

Mark was a class act both on and off the ice. Graduate of Catholic Memorial and BU. Mark was killed by cowards whose names are forgotten while his life is remembered and celebrated by many.

Mark you are sorely missed by family and friends alike.

Re: Mark Bavis- Continuing to Remember

I think of Mark every time I put on my #11 Georgia jersey for a practice/scrimmage. I'll never forget the way my feelings turned from shock to sadness as I saw the ticker at the bottom of the TV screen mention that Mark was among the passengers on that United flight.

As has been said many times, he (and his brother) were the epitome of BU Hockey.

A terrific guy and a pretty good hockey player to boot. First saw him and Mike in the epic 91 Frozen Four and 3OT Championship game and had the pleasure of working with them in South Carolina. Always a smile, always a laugh and always a first class guy!
