The 2004-2005 Gophers with the Wendell-Darwitz-Stephens line was a force to be reckoned with.Give blood... Play Gopher Hockey!

Other great teams from the NCAA era were the 2002-03 Bulldogs and the Badgers from both 2006-07 and 2008-09. Hard to say which of those teams was the best."... And lose, and start again at your beginnings

Begs the question...Has there ever been an undefeated team in D1. ?.
BTW...Back in the late 70's until about the mid 90's, a couple of power house teams north of the border were better than the top NCAA teams. UofT had some real power house teams in the 90's. Sonohara, Dupuis, Hunter and Hefford all played for UofT.

The '02-'03 Harvard Crimson. That NCAA title game still haunts me. The team was loaded and other than a hiccup against Dartmouth in the ECAC tournament final, blew teams away. They had three lines that could score and six top flight D.
