RIT will have two international exemption games: Simon Fraser and University of British Columbia. I do not know the dates.

Only one is exempt. The other counts against your 34.

Seriously, are we playing split squad to end the year? RPI says we're hosting them, Vermont says we're in the Catamount Cup non-tournament Tournament

I have heard rumors of RIT scheduling an international trip under the once-every-four-year exemption. This could be part of that if they are away games.

The games are being played in Vancouver, B.C., during a school vacation under the once-every-four-years international exemption. Neither counts against the 34.

Don't think I saw anything for Minnesota posted:

Partial 2012-13 schedule: (not official)

Oct. 12-13 --- Michigan State
Oct. 19-20 --- @ Michigan Tech
Nov. 2-3 --- Minnesota State (home?/away?)
Nov. 9-10 --- @ Alaska Anchorage
Nov. 16-17 --- Wisconsin
Nov. 23-24 --- @ Vermont
Nov. 30 - Dec 1 --- Nebraska Omaha
Dec. 7-8 --- @ Colorado College
Dec. 28-29 --- Mariucci Classic: Boston College, ?, ?
Jan. 4-5 --- Non-Conference??? (Notre Dame???)
Jan. 11-12 --- Alaska Anchorage
Jan. 18-19 --- North Dakota
Jan. 25-26 --- Minnesota State (home?/away?)
Feb. 8-9 --- @ St. Cloud State
Feb. 15 & 17 --- @ Wisconsin (2nd game at Soldier Field???)
Feb. 22-23 --- Minnesota-Duluth
Mar. 1-2 --- Denver
Mar. 8-9 --- @ Bemidji

There is also speculation that due to conflicts with football the MSU series could be F & Su and and MSUM will be 2 away then 2 home instead of split.

Wow. Minnesota making their first trip out East since January of '05. Couple that with supposed trips to BC/BU in the future, and it looks like the Gophers are finally making some trips out East. That should help them come tournament time if the Gophers have to go to an Eastern bracket, as the Gophers haven't advanced to the Frozen Four from out East since 1987.

Forgot about the exemption; either that or I was under the impression the games would have been at Ritter. Either way, you're absolutely correct.

I wouldn't be surprised if one of those UVM games were to be on NBC Sports (of course I don't know if Notre Dame is playing at home that weekend).

I thought we had seen from before that Minnesota vs. State would be the 23rd and 24th of November and not the 12th and 13th of October. I'll at least get the conference games in there, though.

From what I can tell, MSU will commence it's final campaign as a CCHA member by opening at Minnesota, then coming home to face Niagara. In January, Penn State (I) comes to Munn. There's a home-and-home with Bowling Green and a home-and-home with Ferris State in there too.

Here's what we have for UNO, who last season did not announce their schedule until the week the season started and long after season ticket renewals were due. A very sore subject with me. From what I have cobbled together from here, the Mavpuck board, and some other places:

10-8-12 (Monday night) Lethbridge (exhibition)
10-12-12 & 10-13-12 Icebreaker tournament--Sprint Center, Kansas City (UNO, Army, Notre Dame, & Air Force)
10-19-12 Northern Michigan
10-20-12 Northern Michigan
10-26-12 Bemidji State
10-27-12 Bemidji State
11-2-12 ???
11-3-12 ???
11-9-12 @ Minnesota-Duluth
11-10-12 @ Minnesota-Duluth
11-16-12 ???
11-17-12 ???
11-23-12 ???
11-24-12 ???
11-30-12 @ Minnesota
12-1-12 @ Minnesota
12-7-12 @ St. Cloud State
12-8-12 @ St. Cloud State
12-14-12 ???
12-15-12 ???
12-21-12 Probably no game will be scheduled
12-22-12 Probably no game will be scheduled
12-28-12 ???
12-29-12 ???
1-4-13 Colorado College
1-5-13 Colorado College
1-11-12 ???
1-12-13 ???
1-18-13 ???
1-19-13 ???
1-25-13 @ Bemidji State
1-26-13 @ Bemidji State
2-1-13 ???
2-2-13 ???
2-8-13 North Dakota
2-9-13 North Dakota (outdoor game with odd start time) @TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha
2-15-13 ???
2-16-13 ???
2-22-13 ???
2-23-12 ???
3-1-13 ???
3-2-13 ???
3-8-13 Minnesota-Duluth
3-9-13 Minnesota-Duluth

I readily acknowledge we won't be playing on all these possible dates.

UNO has been playing Eastern teams the last weekend of December for several years now. Just finished home and away with Quinnipiac this season. My guess is that somebody out that way is on our plate this season that weekend, too.

I am assuming that since UNO is playing in the Icebreaker that they aren't holding their annual Maverick Stampede season opening tournament this year, unless they are planning to move it to some other weekend, which would be unprecedented.

Other conference games are, I believe, an away weekend at Denver, a home and away series with Michigan Tech, a home series against Wisconsin, an away series against Alaska Anchorage, and a home series with Minnesota State Mankato. We also, I believe have an away series with MSM as well. I forget who else we double up with this season. Correct me if I have these other ones wrong, somebody.

Looking forward to our trip to Mariucci this season, where, as we all know, UNO is undefeated, all time. :D Conversely, and oddly, they've won every game they've played here. Interesting to see if that streak gets kept alive.

I have your away series with UAA listed. Thanks for the other info.

May I assume, then, that you will be receiving the exemption this year by travelling to Alaska? Assuming you're playing in the GLI (and I'd say that's a pretty fair assumption), that'd mean 8 NC games.

According to Lowell Coach Norm Bazin at the team banquet last night, Lowell will be playing at Denver on Oct 19th and following up with CC on the 20th (we already knew the latter, and had speculated the former).

We had the same number of potential non-conference games in 2011-12. So the exemption this year wouldn't really make any difference for us.

The reason I asked is because you already have the GLI, 2 @ the Gophers, and 2 w/ Penn State. If you don't get the Alaska exemption, that's a full NC schedule.

RIT will have two international exemption games: Simon Fraser and University of British Columbia. I do not know the dates.

I didn't think Simon Frasier had a hockey team. So out of curiosity I checked their site and the show no varsity hockey team. Is it a new start up or a club team? And further complete speculation, since Simon Frasier switched to the NCAA this year, if it were a varsity team would it still count toward the exemption?
