It's not clear to me what happens if a school doesn't have 25 games against D-I opposition. It seems that the only purpose of bylaw 20.9.4 is to establish minimum numbers of sports sponsored by a school.

However, the NCAA hockey tournament manual has the following sentence: "Division I institutions that wish to participate in the Division I championship must schedule a minimum of 20 games against Division I opponents."

I think that means that UAH is eligible for the tournament, and games against them count in the RPI. Failing to meet the 25-game minimum, though, means that they can't count hockey as one of their sports for official sponsorship purposes (although they can get a waiver of this).

That's the same conclusion that I came to in Post 355 (http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?100452-2012-2013-schedules&p=5462634&viewfull=1#post5462634), although I was referring to Penn State.

BC finally released their schedule. One change to note: The Yale game has been moved up to Friday January 4th.

If it hasn't been noted, Notre Dame's game at Minnesota is Tuesday, January 8th. Presumably for tv purposes.

Because otherwise it wouldn't be shown?

I'm assuming it was to be shown regardless, but there was a Saturday conflict. Hence the move. Just a guess on my part.

Is there a 2013-2014 version of this thread floating around?

I searched but couldn't find anything
